Use Your Power for Purpose

Our manufacturing logistics and supply team ensures that customers and patients receive the medicines they need precisely when they need them. By embracing challenges, imagining new possibilities, and taking decisive action, you will play a crucial role in bringing medicines to the world more swiftly. Your efforts will help us meet the needs of patients everywhere, making a significant impact on global health.

What You Will Achieve

Role Summary

The Inventory Intelligence Lead is a newly created global role within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Central Platform, accountable for building Pfizer Global Supply Chain’s enterprise inventory intelligence capability. The role will enable better decisions across service, cost, risk, and working capital by creating one forward-looking view of inventory health, trajectory, and required actions.

This leader will transform inventory management from a largely manual and financially oriented reporting process into a predictive, intelligence-driven capability that informs enterprise choices on inventory targets, deployment, replenishment, risk mitigation, and cash-flow impact.

The role owns the enterprise inventory planning process end-to-end, from forecasting and target setting through deployment, risk trade-offs, and write-off mitigation. The Inventory Intelligence Lead will publish the Statement of Inventory as the recurring enterprise view of current inventory position, projected trajectory, key risks, mitigation actions, and 3+ year outlook.

The leader will govern forward-looking inventory projections and optimization models, embedding advanced analytics and AI-enabled capabilities to guide where inventory should be held, how much is needed, and in what form. They will also establish early-warning analytics for at-risk inventory, lead cross-functional mitigation programs, and create standardized self-service inventory insights and reporting across site, market, and enterprise stakeholders.

Through Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx) principles, the role will ensure standard ways of working, process replication, and consistent quality and compliance requirements across inventory planning activities. The incumbent will work in close partnership with other Central Platform and Operations intelligence leads, Finance, Commercial, Quality, site teams, and market supply chain leaders.

The incumbent will report to the Vice President, Integrated Business Planning, serve as a member of the IBP Leadership Team, and help advance the broader IBP transformation agenda through enterprise governance, capability building, and selected transformation initiatives.
