Job description

Are you ready to start your career in Supply Chain and discover where your skills can make the greatest impact?

At Barilla, Supply Chain is much more than moving products from A to B. It connects planning, logistics, operations, safety and sustainability to make sure our products reach millions of people every day.

We are looking for talented students and recent graduates to join us for a 6-month internship and take part in our next Supply Chain Assessment Center.

You will have the opportunity to be considered for three different internship experiences:

  • Logistics Italy: Discover how our products move across the logistics network, from warehouses to customers. You’ll work on logistics processes, performance monitoring and continuous improvement, using data and KPIs to support efficient and effective operations.
  • Central Demand Planning: Discover how data, forecasts and market insights turn into Supply Chain decisions. You’ll support demand planning activities, analyze trends and KPIs, and collaborate with different teams to help anticipate demand and improve planning processes.
  • HSEE | Health, Safety, Environment & Energy: Contribute to making our Supply Chain safer and more sustainable. You’ll support projects related to Health, Safety, Environment & Energy, working on data analysis, processes, tools and best practices and contributing to initiatives with a concrete impact across the organization.

Who are we looking for?

  • Master’s degree students or recent graduates in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or Economics fields with a strong focus on Supply Chain topics. For the internship in HSE&E a degree in Environmental or Safety Engineering will be considered a plus.
  • Excellent academic background
  • Fluent English and Italian (mandatory)
  • Study or work experience abroad (nice to have)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work in team

Application Process

1. Online Application: complete the online application providing us with your CV.
2. Pre-screening/initial interview: if your application has passed the first screening, then you will be contacted by the recruiter for an interview to verify the basic requirements of the position.
3. Final selection/Assessment Day: end-round candidates will have interviews with business leaders to assess your strengths, potential, technical and behavioral skills and cultural fit. This step might include cases studies, group exercises and a panel of interviewers, to probe better into problem solving and teamwork skills. The assessment will take place remotely during the first week of December.

What we offer

  • 6-months curricular/extra-curricular internship in Parma from January 2027
  • Competitive Internship salary + relocation allowance.
  • Personal tutoring and constant support from your team to develop your personal and business skills.
