Show job description

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to build the team behind our launch vehicles and propulsion systems. This is a hands-on, primarily onsite role focused on high-quality technical recruitment at pace.

You will partner closely with engineering and business leaders to attract exceptional talent across propulsion, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, electronics, software, manufacturing, operations, and corporate functions. You will be expected to move quickly without lowering the hiring bar, while delivering an outstanding candidate experience from first contact through to offer.

Working as part of a high-performing TA function capable of supporting hyper-growth while protecting and strengthening the quality and density of talent across the company.

Fluent German is essential. A key part of the role will be developing relationships with German institutions, rocketry teams, suppliers, and technical communities.

About us

We’re a Germany-based rocketry startup currently in stealth mode, scaling up rapidly to meet the demand for high-performance, reliable, and scalable solid propulsion technologies for space and defense applications.

We are already launching suborbital and ballistic rockets on a regular basis, generating significant revenue and applying our knowledge toward the development of an orbital rocket.

We are working hard to build something truly spectacular.

To thrive here you will need to be comfortable working at pace, with the autonomy to make decisions and execute on them quickly. If you’re excited by hard technical challenges and want a role where you will make a real difference each day to the future of the company, we may be the place for you.

At our company, job titles and career progression are earned, not determined by years of experience alone. They reflect the responsibility you take on and the dedication you bring to each project. If you’re ready to rise to the challenge, we’d love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end recruitment for technical and business roles, delivering a fast, structured, and high-quality hiring process.

  • Partner with hiring managers and technical leaders to define roles, calibrate requirements, build scorecards, and improve assessment quality.

  • Source exceptional candidates across propulsion, mechanical, systems, electronics, software, manufacturing, and operations.

  • Build trusted relationships with German universities, technical institutions, rocketry teams, suppliers, professional networks, and specialist communities.

  • Deliver a thoughtful and responsive candidate experience while maintaining a high bar for capability, ownership, and cultural contribution.

  • Actively optimise and continuously improve the TA function, including sourcing strategy, recruitment systems, metrics, employer brand, referrals, and scalable hiring processes.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in-house or within an embedded recruitment solution; strong agency recruiters with demonstrable technical hiring results will also be considered.

  • Experience recruiting highly specialised technical talent in a fast-growing or demanding environment.

  • Fluent German and strong professional English, with the ability to build trusted relationships in both languages.

  • Demonstrated ability to source and engage hard-to-find candidates through direct outreach, networks, referrals, events, and technical communities.

  • Excellent judgement, organisation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

  • A proactive, high-ownership approach and the ability to work primarily onsite in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling company.

Desirable experience

  • Recruiting within a complex technical discipline such as aerospace, space, rocketry, propulsion, defence, advanced manufacturing or engineering.

  • Existing relationships with German technical institutions, universities, rocketry teams, suppliers, or engineering communities.

Benefits and important information:

  • We offer top-decile compensation packages, bonuses and meaningful equity, to attract exceptional aerospace talent.

  • Every employee is awarded stock options in the company, you will directly benefit from your own hard work and success.

  • Comprehensive relocation support including flights, shipping and visas.

  • Lunch, dinner and drinks provided everyday

  • Free access to shared company housing

Please note, we are a fast paced, hyper-scaling startup. You will need to be comfortable working extended hours with high levels of autonomy, ownership, and flexibility, with contracts structured around a 48-hour working week.

We are committed to building an equitable and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, has equal access to opportunity, and can thrive. We welcome different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences—and believe our differences make us stronger.
