SeaMarque is partnering with a leading international maritime organisation to recruit an experienced Technical Manager – Chemical & Gas Tankers, based in Dubai.

This is an excellent opportunity to take a key leadership role in the technical management of a growing clean products tanker fleet, overseeing technical performance, operational excellence, and a developing team within a highly regarded global maritime organisation.

The role:

Lead the safe, reliable and cost-effective technical management of the fleet.
Manage and develop a multicultural shore-based technical team.
Oversee vessel performance, maintenance, repairs and drydockings.
Drive improvements in fleet reliability, efficiency and compliance.
Manage technical budgets and major projects.
Work closely with senior leadership and other business functions.

The ideal candidate

Technical Manager, Fleet Manager with experience on tanker vessels.
Chief Engineer's licence or relevant marine engineering qualification.
Strong tanker experience
Proven people-management experience
