Transportation Analyst

Join our Toyota Material Handling Team as a Transportation Analyst The Role: Toyota Material Handling is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Transportation Analyst . This position will be responsible supporting day-to-day operations for inbound and outbound shipping. They will be working with various transportation companies and internal customers to ensure on time deliveries. Essential Position Duties: Provide customer service support to internal and external customers Gather data from carrier scorecard Analyze and process freight damage claims Support development of yearly budget for departments Gather data for development of cost saving measures Foster carrier relations with good communication and conflict resolution Process freight and invoices Support process improvement activity within the Transportation Department Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner Additional duties as assigned Additional duties as assigned. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience. Certifications in Logistics related field preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills Working knowledge of the different forms of transportation (intermodal and over the road) Ability to work with customers and carriers via telephone Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge of TMS Proficiency with SAP preferred Where and When You’ll Work: This is an in-person role located at our Columbus, Indiana office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment. Travel: up to 20% (domestic and international) What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like: Salary - $65,000 - $85,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
