Job Description This established kindergarten group operates five locations across Wuhan, serving children aged 3 to 6. Curriculum Overview (About the Role) The thematic curriculum integrates English learning into daily activities and play. • Uses songs, games, stories, art, and hands-on projects as teaching tools • Aligns with age-appropriate language development milestones • Encourages natural communication in a supportive classroom setting • Incorporates cultural and seasonal themes to keep lessons engaging • Supports holistic child development including social and emotional skills Teachers receive curriculum guides and collaborative planning support. Position Overview The Kindergarten English Teacher delivers fun, interactive lessons to students aged 3 to 6. This role works side-by-side with local Chinese homeroom teachers to ensure a bilingual, nurturing environment. Teachers also participate in school-wide events and provide informal feedback on student progress. Working Hours • Days: Monday – Friday • Time schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (including lunch break) • Break details: Maximum 25 teaching hours per week plus office and planning time Class Structure • Class size: Approximately 20 – 25 students • Details: Ages 3 to 6, grouped by age level • Teaching team per class: o Lead English Teacher o Chinese Homeroom Teacher o Teaching Assistant as needed Key Responsibilities • Teach English through songs, games, stories, art, and hands-on activities • Design age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the thematic curriculum • Foster a warm, encouraging, and safe classroom environment • Work collaboratively with local Chinese homeroom teachers • Participate in school events including Sports Day, Christmas celebrations, and graduation shows • Observe and provide simple progress feedback on children’s language development Requirements • Native English speaker preferred (US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa) • Bachelor’s degree or above (any field) • Minimum 1 year of kindergarten teaching experience with the 3-6 age group required • TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate (120 hours preferred) • Outgoing, expressive, patient, and highly energetic personality • Clear criminal background check Benefits • Salary: RMB 18,000 – 24,000/month (based on experience and interview demo) • Work visa (Z visa) sponsored • Health insurance provided • Partial paid winter and summer holidays (depending on kindergarten calendar) • Full paid Chinese public holidays • Airport pickup and relocation assistance (available in some locations) • Contract completion bonus (negotiable) • 1 week hotel stay upon arrival Attachments Wuhan Kindergarten Guanggu W...pdf View Download
