Role Description The 2D Animation Tutor Using Moho role is a remote, contract position focused on teaching learners how to create professional-quality 2D animations with Moho. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering online lessons, demonstrating Moho tools and workflows, and guiding students through character rigging, keyframing, and scene composition. The tutor will review assignments, provide clear feedback, and adjust teaching methods to different skill levels. The role also involves creating learning materials, short project briefs, and practical exercises that align with ThynkCity’s technology-focused training programs.
Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Moho (Anime Studio) and 2D animation principles, including character design, rigging, timing, and storytelling.
• Experience creating animation curricula, tutorials, or training materials, with the ability to break complex concepts into accessible steps.
• Demonstrated teaching, mentoring, or tutoring experience in animation or related creative disciplines, preferably in an online environment.
• Solid understanding of digital content creation workflows, including file management, basic video editing, and exporting animations for various platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage learners of varying ages and backgrounds in a remote setting.
• Comfort using online collaboration and learning tools (e.g., video conferencing, screen sharing, learning management systems).
• Relevant education or training in animation, multimedia design, game design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Interest in emerging technologies and education, and willingness to align lessons with ThynkCity’s broader technology training initiatives.
