Account Receivable (AR)

Role Description As the Owner at WORK WITH THE UN, you will oversee the strategic direction, operations, and growth of the organization in alignment with global and UN-related initiatives. This part-time, remote role involves defining business goals, managing key partnerships, and ensuring that services and communications remain aligned with the organization’s mission. On a day-to-day basis, you will review and refine service offerings, coordinate with collaborators or contractors, manage budgets and resources, and make decisions about marketing and outreach efforts. You will also set organizational policies, monitor performance against objectives, and identify new opportunities to expand the impact and visibility of WORK WITH THE UN. The role requires balancing strategic leadership with hands-on management of processes, systems, and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Strategic leadership and business management skills, including the ability to set vision, define priorities, and oversee operations.
• Experience in partnership development, stakeholder management, or networking with international organizations, NGOs, or public sector entities.
• Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to represent the organization in diverse settings.
• Proficiency with remote work tools, digital collaboration platforms, and basic project management practices.
• Understanding of global issues, sustainable development, or UN-related initiatives is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and manage time effectively in a part-time remote role.
• Prior experience in entrepreneurship, non-profit management, consulting, or international relations is an advantage.
