Director of Hospitality

Role Description The Director of Hospitality will oversee daily hospitality operations, ensuring high standards in food service, customer experience, and event execution. This part-time hybrid role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a mix of on-site presence and some work from home as business needs permit. Key responsibilities include supervising service teams, coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house staff, and maintaining quality and safety standards across all hospitality activities. The role involves managing budgets, monitoring costs, and supporting sales initiatives to optimize revenue. The Director will also plan and oversee events, develop service procedures, handle guest feedback, and collaborate with leadership to improve operational efficiency and service consistency.

Qualifications

• Strong Food Service and Event Management skills, with experience overseeing menus, service flow, and event logistics.
• Proven Customer Service abilities, including resolving concerns professionally and maintaining high guest satisfaction.
• Budgeting and Sales skills to manage financial performance, control costs, and support revenue growth.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience in hospitality or a related service environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural setting.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple events and operational priorities in a part-time capacity.
• Familiarity with hospitality standards, health and safety regulations, and quality assurance practices.
• Relevant education or professional training in hospitality management, business, or a related field is preferred.
