Due to continued operational requirements, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their finance team in a diverse position supporting both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions (this role is heavily AP focussed).
The Role
Reporting to the Manager - Accounts (AP/AR) & Transformation, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions across the business. This position offers a mix of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, stakeholder liaison and process improvement responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing Accounts Payable transactions accurately and efficiently
- Completing supplier account reconciliations and resolving account discrepancies
- Managing debtor invoicing and assisting with aged debtors reporting
- Maintaining daily cashbooks and completing bank reconciliations
- Responding to supplier and stakeholder enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Assisting with month-end reporting requirements
- Supporting compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience within Accounts Payable or broader finance administration role
- Experience with SAP Concur is essential
- Experience working within a corporate or shared services environment
- Strong reconciliation skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Relevant finance, accounting or business qualifications will be viewed favourably
