Accounts Receivable Accountant Finance Team | Vilnius, Lithuania About the role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Accountant to support our finance team in maintaining accurate billing and timely collection of receivables. This role involves assisting with the day-to-day operations of the order-to-cash (OTC) cycle, including invoicing, payment application, and follow-up on outstanding accounts. The ideal candidate is organised, communicative and eager to develop their knowledge of credit and collections processes. Key responsibilities In this role, you will: Process customer invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing. Apply incoming payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies. Monitor accounts receivable ageing and follow up with customers on overdue balances. Support credit checks and help gather data for credit assessments. Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account statements. Assist in monthly close processes by preparing reports and account reconciliations. Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and other internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues. Help maintain AR documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies. Requirements We are looking for someone who: Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Has a 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, or a related finance role. E xperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar is a plus. Is proficiency in Excel (e.g., basic functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP preferred). Has strong attention to detail. Has good verbal and written communication skills, with a customer service mindset. Has strong English communication skills (both spoken and written).
