Location: Remote (Pennsylvania-based preferred)
Position Type: Volunteer
Time Commitment: Up to 5 hours per week
Overview: The Pennsylvania Doula Commission (PADC) is committed to advancing the visibility and impact of doulas across Pennsylvania. As a member of the Advocacy Committee, you will set the vision for PADC’s marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals. You will develop and manage marketing campaigns, promote events, and create content for social media, the website, and other media platforms.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with PADC’s mission.
Create and manage marketing campaigns to promote PADC initiatives and events.
Design and produce content for social media platforms, the website, and other media.
Ensure consistent and effective communication across all channels.
Collaborate with PADC leadership to refine marketing goals and strategies.
Qualifications:
Marketing/Communications/Graphic Design Background: Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
Leadership: Ability to lead marketing initiatives and guide a team.
Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple marketing projects.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting effective messages.
Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
Project Management: Experience in planning and executing marketing campaigns.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
