About Mara7el
Mara7el Inclusive Technologies is an EdTech startup building specialized learning and intervention programs for children who need extra support, delivered through our own digital platform. Our curricula are the result of three years of research and development, and our first program focuses on early intervention for children aged 2–6. We are part of the Anthropic startup program and NVIDIA Inception.
The Role
We are looking for an AI Engineer to join our tech team, reporting to our CTO. You will work under the CTO's direction to develop and implement AI features on the Mara7el platform. This is an equity-based role: instead of a salary at this stage, you will receive equity in Mara7el.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement AI features
- Build LLM-powered features and agents using Claude and other models
- Work on models and pipelines for analyzing data such as video, audio, and text
- Use NVIDIA GPU tools and cloud infrastructure (AWS) to train, test, and deploy models
- Coordinate with our special education team to understand the educational requirements of each feature
- Test, document, and maintain the AI components you work on
- Follow the company's standards for privacy, security, and handling children's data
Who You Are
- Degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML systems
- Strong Python skills and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Familiarity with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks
- Experience in computer vision or speech and audio processing is a strong plus
- Experience with cloud deployment and APIs
- Works well in a team and can deliver on agreed timelines
- Motivated by building technology that has a real impact on children and families
