As an AI Engineer within our ‘AI & Automations’ team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and scaling AI-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency, automate business processes, and improve both employee and customer experiences. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust, production-ready AI systems. What will you do: Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI solutions, including conversational AI, predictive models, and intelligent automation workflows. Collaborate closely with the direct manager to align priorities, define technical solution direction, and ensure successful delivery of AI initiatives, while proactively providing updates, raising risks, and contributing to strategic decision-making. Identify and refine high-value AI use cases in collaboration with business units (e.g., Network Operations, Customer Service, IT, Commercial), either independently or in close partnership with the direct manager, depending on scope and complexity. Provide end-to-end solution delivery, from proof of concept through to production deployment and optimization. Architect and implement integrations between AI solutions and enterprise platforms (e.g., CRM, ERP, ticketing, network systems). Ensure reliability and performance of AI models through monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement. Apply best practices in MLOps, data engineering, and software development to ensure scalability and maintainability. Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks, security standards, and regulatory requirements, including the EU AI Act. Contribute to knowledge sharing and capability building within the organization. It would be nice if you have: Solid experience in programming (e.g., Python) and understanding of software engineering principles. Hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions, including exposure to LLMs and automation frameworks. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and integrating AI services into enterprise environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Experience working with APIs, data pipelines, and system integrations. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Understanding of AI governance, security, and data privacy principles in enterprise environments. Nice to Have Experience with MLOps frameworks and model lifecycle management. Familiarity with telecom systems (OSS/BSS, network data, customer platforms). Exposure to automation tools (Power Platform, UiPath, etc.).
