Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an AIA Takaful Agent. The agent will actively engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their protection and savings needs, provide tailored Takaful solutions, and support them through the onboarding and policy servicing process. Daily tasks include conducting virtual consultations, explaining product features and benefits in clear terms, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions. The agent will use digital platforms to manage appointments, submit applications, and track case progress, while adhering to regulatory, Shariah, and company compliance standards. The role also involves ongoing relationship management, participating in online training and coaching sessions, and working toward individual and team sales targets.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and build trust with diverse customers.
- Sales, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities, with an interest in achieving and exceeding performance targets.
- Basic financial literacy and understanding of protection and savings products; familiarity with Takaful or Islamic finance principles is an advantage.
- Comfort with digital tools and remote work technologies, including video conferencing, CRM systems, and online documentation.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
- Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple leads, follow-ups, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Prior experience in insurance, Takaful, banking, or financial advisory is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Relevant diploma or degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
