The ideal candidate will use sales data, inventory levels, and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions, ensuring products remain well-stocked, competitively priced, and ready for fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor sales trends, stock levels, and seasonal demand to determine reorder quantities and timing.
  • Manage purchasing and replenishment of products to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to confirm incoming inventory, verify quantities, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Track shipments and communicate inventory arrival details to support efficient order fulfillment.
  • Set and update product pricing based on supplier costs, market conditions, profit margins, and internal guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, inventory movements, shipments, and product costs.
  • Analyse sales and inventory data to identify purchasing opportunities and potential supply chain risks.
  • Support the executive team with purchasing reports, inventory insights, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates across Amazon Seller Central and relevant inventory management systems.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Amazon purchasing, eCommerce operations, inventory management, or supply chain coordination.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and inventory replenishment processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Understanding of product costs, pricing strategies, and profit margins.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing inventory for an Amazon Seller or Vendor Central business.
  • Familiarity with inventory forecasting, demand planning, and reorder point calculations.
  • Experience with inventory management tools and sales analytics platforms such as Helium 10, Keepa, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of stock turnover, lead times, and supplier management.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable working with numbers. They can identify when products need replenishing, make sound purchasing and pricing decisions, and coordinate effectively with suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.
