Analytics Assistant

Role Description The Analytics Assistant is a part-time hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves supporting data collection, cleaning, and validation for production, quality, and operational processes within textile machinery manufacturing. The Analytics Assistant will assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and basic visualizations, helping stakeholders interpret trends and performance metrics. Typical tasks include organizing datasets, documenting methodologies, coordinating with engineering and operations teams to gather information, and maintaining accurate records of analyses. The role also includes contributing to process improvement initiatives by highlighting data-driven insights and ensuring information is presented clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Data handling and analysis skills, including basic proficiency in spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), data organization, and descriptive statistics.
• Reporting and visualization capabilities, such as creating clear tables, charts, and summary reports for operational and management use.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, inconsistencies, and potential areas for process improvement.
• Comfort working with technical information related to manufacturing, engineering, or industrial operations; experience in textile or machinery sectors is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to explain findings to diverse stakeholders in a clear, structured manner.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, managing tasks independently and collaborating in person in Abu Dhabi Emirate as needed.
• Relevant education in analytics, engineering, mathematics, statistics, business, or a related field; ongoing studies are acceptable for a part-time role.
• Attention to detail, reliability in handling sensitive data, and commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
