Job Description This is a remote position. The Opportunity At Pentoz, we are building cutting-edge mobile apps that empower industries and redefine user experience. As an Android Studio Developer, you’ll work at the core of our mobile team, using Android Studio, Kotlin, and Jetpack to deliver world-class Android applications that scale with performance and polish. This is not just another mobile job — it’s an opportunity to build purposeful apps that impact lives across technology, staffing, hospitality, and fintech. You Will Be Responsible For End-to-End Android Development: Designing, developing, and maintaining native Android apps using Android Studio and Kotlin. UI/UX Implementation: Creating sleek, responsive UIs using Jetpack Compose or XML layouts that align with modern Material Design principles. Performance Optimization: Writing fast, clean, and maintainable code while ensuring compatibility across diverse Android devices. API Integration: Working with REST APIs, Firebase, and third-party SDKs to enhance app functionality. Testing & Debugging: Using Android Studio’s tools (Emulator, Profiler, Logcat) to test, debug, and fine-tune performance and memory use. Collaborative Execution: Working closely with product managers, designers, and QA in agile sprints to deliver new features and releases. This Role Is For You If You have 3–6+ years of hands-on experience building Android apps using Android Studio. You are proficient in Kotlin (Java is a plus) and confident with modern architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture). You’ve published or contributed to apps on the Google Play Store. You’re comfortable with Jetpack libraries (Navigation, Room, LiveData, WorkManager, etc.). You’re self-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about building world-class mobile apps.
