Job Title: Applicant Screening Agent
Monthly Pay: PKR 62,870 - 148,360 per month
Summary:
Start with an applicant from the recruiter's list and guide a short phone conversation about basic fit. You receive applications and return-call requests, then ask approved questions about interest, availability, and readiness for the next step. Your notes help recruiters understand each applicant before an interview. You arrange suitable interview slots and explain what the candidate should expect next. A recruiting team lead shows you the screening rules and reviews questions that need extra support. You carry out this fully remote role through phone calls and work from home. The role pays a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
• Review the basic screening questions before opening assigned candidate lists in an applicant tracking system such as Lever. Plan your call order.
• Call applicants through a business phone system such as Dialpad. Introduce yourself, explain the call, and check whether they can speak.
• Ask approved questions about interest, availability, a quiet workspace, and spoken English. Write clear answers without adding your own assumptions.
• Explain the next step using the recruiter's approved information. Answer simple questions and refer anything outside your guidance to the recruiting team lead.
• Mark each applicant as ready for the next step, not now, or not a fit. Follow the recruiter's stated rules.
• Book ready applicants with recruiters using a scheduling tool such as Calendly. Confirm the interview date and time before ending the call.
• Send short interview reminders with clear joining instructions. Call candidates after missed interviews and help arrange another suitable slot when needed.
• Update the applicant tracking record after every call. Include answers, the call result, any return-call request, and the agreed next step.
• Share completed screening notes with the recruiter before the interview. Highlight unanswered questions so the recruiter knows what still needs discussion.
• Keep candidate entries accurate and private. Mark wrong numbers, duplicate entries, and withdrawals so the next person sees the current position.
• Meet quality standards through accurate notes, polite calls, correct bookings, and prompt follow-up. Use feedback to improve your next conversation.
Qualifications:
• Professional spoken and written English, because calls are generally with candidates and teams in the United States.
• A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection, and reliable electricity.
• No recruiting experience is required. Related phone support, customer service, or interview scheduling experience is preferred.
• A calm, friendly phone voice and the ability to explain one step at a time without rushing candidates.
• Willingness to learn the named applicant tracking, business phone, and scheduling tools through guided practice and clear instructions.
• Ability to follow basic screening rules consistently and ask the same approved questions fairly across candidate calls.
• Care when entering answers, checking interview dates, and matching each call note to the correct applicant.
• Respect for candidate privacy, including keeping notes within approved tools and sharing them only with the recruiting team.
• Ability to listen closely, confirm unclear answers, and ask the team lead for help instead of guessing.
Perks & Benefits:
• A fully remote role with work from home built into the daily process.
• Structured onboarding and guided training on Lever, Dialpad, and Calendly.
• Regular check-ins with the team lead to review calls, questions, and progress.
• Growth opportunities within the team as you build screening and scheduling skills.
• Bonus opportunities.
