Job Description Job Description – Apprentice First Line Support Engineer The Opportunity Our client is recruiting for an Apprentice First Line Support Engineer to join their team in Bishops Stortford Herts. The Level 3 Information Communication Technician apprenticeship programme that we are offering , will allow you to kick-start your career in an industry that is constantly evolving, dynamic and transformational. The steps you take will provide you with valuable first-hand experience, knowledge, skills and qualification to help really drive your career forward. The Position Job Title: Apprentice First Line Support Engineer Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 Information Communication Technician Apprenticeship Duration: 13 months + Assessment Location: Bishops Stortford Herts – CM23 Working Hours: Monday – Friday Salary: £18,000 Excellent opportunity for you to join this support help desk team and work in a varied and busy professional environment. The Business: Established over 30 years with an enviable reputation for exceeding customer expectations, and low staff turnover, they require an engineer to join their Support & Services team. Recognised as the longest established MSP in the area they offer a wealth of IT services such as - PC Support, IT Security & Hosted Services, Field Services and much more to diverse businesses both locally and throughout the UK. We have been massively successful with apprentices over the past years. We’ve successfully trained up 6 members of staff from apprentices. Most of which have been taken on as full-time employees following their training! We pride ourselves on creating an environment which supports development of young IT professionals. The Role: You will be working alongside the team of currently, 9 support staff. Taking support tickets from customers, communicating with the users, listening, and resolving their issues by remote access via their RMM and ticketing system. Work on special projects, investigating new technology and services. Collaborating with other team members and individually. They encourage staff to further their certifications by mentoring and paying fees. The team work closely together providing a great working environment.
