Assistant Retail Manager / Retail Assistant / Shop Assistant

Role Description This part-time hybrid role as Assistant Retail Manager / Retail Assistant / Shop Assistant at MP Select - Gestión en RRHH is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves supporting daily store operations, including assisting customers, handling sales transactions, maintaining product displays, and ensuring stock levels are organized and updated. The position also includes helping implement sales promotions, monitoring store cleanliness and safety standards, and providing accurate information about products and services. The Assistant Retail Manager / Retail Assistant / Shop Assistant will collaborate with the store team to meet sales targets, support team coordination during shifts, and report any operational or customer issues to management. The role requires adherence to company policies, accurate record-keeping, and a focus on delivering a positive, efficient shopping experience.

• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Candidates should possess Sales skills to support product recommendations, upselling, and meeting store revenue goals.
• Candidates should possess Team Management or team support skills to assist with coordinating tasks, collaborating with coworkers, and contributing to a positive work environment.
• Relevant experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is beneficial, along with basic numeracy for handling cash and POS systems.
• Ability to work part time on a flexible schedule, including weekends or holidays as needed, and to operate effectively in a hybrid on-site/remote setting.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to following store procedures and health and safety guidelines.
