About PF Global

PF Global gives advice built on deep sector expertise, underpinned by global opinion and economic research, so our clients can win the arguments that will decide their future.

We are oriented around the debates that will matter most to the future, where the intersection of policy, politics, and regulation will decide what happens. We will tell clients honestly what is politically possible (and what is not) and then help them make their case by building the research, the story and the campaign that goes with it.

Working at PF Global, you’ll work alongside colleagues with diverse skills, gain exposure to senior clients, and have real opportunities to develop your career as part of our ambitious and supportive team.

The Role

We are looking for an Associate Director (AD) to run two critical accounts for PF Global day to day. You will deal with very high-profile, senior people and make sure complex workstreams are managed seamlessly, with no balls dropped. You will understand ambitious campaign strategies and how to translate them into execution, pull in our experts from across the firm and beyond to deliver what the client needs, and adapt quickly as circumstances change.

You will also support junior colleagues, help the leadership team to mentor and develop talent, and help our clients to influence and shape the political agenda for their business.

What you'll do

  • Running two major accounts day to day, owning senior client relationships and working closely with directors and staff across PF Global.

  • Managing complex, multi-strand workstreams to tight deadlines so nothing is dropped

  • Turning campaign strategy into delivery, from building stakeholder coalitions to running digital activity

  • Pulling in experts from across PF Global and beyond to deliver what clients need

  • Producing clear, thoughtful, and accurate written work for senior clients

  • Seeking opportunities for organic growth on accounts and leveraging own network of clients, prospects, media, and wider stakeholders to provide insight for clients and new business

  • Identify and contribute to pitches and proposals for new business

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience in public affairs or political strategy, with an excellent track record in operating and delivering multifaceted campaigns. A demonstrable interest in UK growth is a plus.

  • Proven project management skills and experience of effectively managing multiple projects and priorities

  • Extensive experience of client engagement and senior stakeholder management in a consultancy environment

  • An excellent track record in delivering strategic cross-channel digital and print campaigns and communications plans

  • Strong and proven experience in transferring strategy into deliverable actions and change

  • An experienced and confident presenter and storyteller, with exceptional written skills (tested as part of the interview process), excellent verbal communication and extensive experience presenting to clients

  • Experience of providing political insight and intelligence through political, media and industry networking

  • You will be excited by how our offering can deliver change and have an appetite for continual development of your own skills and expertise and be a champion for sharing learning internally

About you

  • An ability to build client relationships by demonstrating expertise, balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders, and acting decisively and confidently

  • Capable and dynamic, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Respectful and works with integrity

Location and Salary

We operate a hybrid working model, with a mix of home and office working. Our main office is based in Embankment (London). Many of us, including the founders, have young children and we work hard to be genuinely family-friendly.

For this role we expect salary to range from £62,000 to £75,000, depending on candidate experience.

We also offer a bonus programme, 5% pension contribution, 25 days annual leave, and private healthcare.

How to apply

Please apply below by submitting your CV and a covering letter (of no more than 600 words) setting out why this role excites you, why you would be a good fit, and what you could bring to it.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and we encourage early applications.

Closing date: Friday 20 November, 11:59pm

We are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion, and particularly encourage applications from candidates with disabilities and candidates from ethnic minority backgrounds
