Bi & Data Visualization Engineer

Location: Vietnam (Remote)

Working Hour: 8 AM - 5 PM (Vietnam Time), Mon to Fri

Contract Duration: Initial 3 months, with potential extension to 6 months or 1 year

Job Description: The BI & Data Visualization Engineer will design, build, and optimize business intelligence reporting layers using Amazon QuickSight. This role will lead the dashboard delivery for 150 internal enterprise users in Phase 1 and expand analytics to 150+ external dealers in Phase 2 with strict multi-tenant Row-Level Security (RLS).

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and publish enterprise-grade QuickSight dashboards (Executive KPI summaries, Operations, Sales & Inventory, and Dealer Performance).
• Implement and enforce robust Row-Level Security (RLS) and Column-Level Security (CLS) datasets in QuickSight, ensuring external dealers strictly access only their authorized franchise data.
• Model Gold-layer semantic views, aggregates, and SPICE datasets in Amazon Athena and Redshift Serverless to ensure sub-second dashboard visual rendering.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define calculation logic, metric dictionaries, and interactive visual hierarchies (drill-downs, parameters, actions).
• Configure scheduled SPICE refreshes, threshold-based automated alerts, and self-service ad hoc analysis enablement for internal power users.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Data Analyst or related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years in business intelligence, data warehousing, and reporting analytics.
• At least 1 year of hands-on expertise building and administering Amazon QuickSight in multi-user/multi tenant environments.
• Advanced proficiency in complex SQL, dimensional modeling (Kimball star schema), calculated fields, and window functions.
• Demonstrated background configuring external portal embedding, QuickSight CLI/APIs, and user identity management (IAM Identity Center / Cognito).
• Strong visual storytelling skills with a strong eye for clean dashboard UX/UI standards.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
