Role Description The Bid Strategy Manager is a part-time remote role responsible for leading the development of competitive bid strategies for legal training programs, partnerships, and institutional collaborations. The role includes analyzing tender and RFP requirements, defining win themes, and coordinating input from legal experts, program leads, and research teams. The Bid Strategy Manager will structure proposal content, ensure alignment with ALC’s mission and capabilities, and manage timelines and submission processes. Day-to-day tasks involve market and stakeholder research, pricing and value positioning, risk assessment, and performance tracking of submitted bids. The role also requires maintaining a repository of past proposals and best practices, while continuously improving bid processes to increase success rates.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in bid strategy, proposal development, and competitive analysis, with the ability to design clear win strategies.
- Experience in legal or professional services sectors, preferably with exposure to tenders, RFPs, or institutional partnerships.
- Advanced research and analytical abilities, including market scanning, stakeholder mapping, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent written communication skills, including structuring proposals, editing content, and tailoring messages to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in project coordination and time management, with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with regional legal frameworks and educational initiatives in the Arab world is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Public Policy, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
- Comfort with digital collaboration tools and document management systems; strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.
