Senior Supply Chain Specialist

Role Description The Senior Supply Chain Specialist will oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, including planning, procurement, logistics coordination, and supplier performance management. This part-time, remote role involves analyzing demand and inventory levels, optimizing stock replenishment, and ensuring timely availability of materials for engineering and industrial automation projects. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain processes with operational goals, identify cost-saving opportunities, and mitigate risks. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators, improving workflows, preparing reports and forecasts, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain and operations.

Qualifications

• Strong Supply Chain Management and Operations Management skills, with experience coordinating end-to-end processes.
• Solid Inventory Management capabilities to optimize stock levels and control material flow.
• Excellent Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in a senior or specialist role in supply chain, logistics, or operations.
• Familiarity with engineering or industrial environments is an advantage.
• Proficiency with ERP or supply chain management systems and standard office productivity tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time schedules, and prioritize multiple tasks.
