A major international insurance and financial services organization operating in more than 40 markets worldwide. Its business spans insurance, employee benefits, retirement solutions, and asset management. The role supports Identity and Access Management initiatives within its enterprise technology and security environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead IAM project delivery in Japan, coordinating with global IAM and security teams.
• Drive SSO and federation implementation and integration across applications and enterprise systems.
• Translate business and technical requirements into clear deliverables for engineering teams and vendors.
• Lead technical discussions on IAM architecture, protocols, and integration with application, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Manage engineers, vendors, delivery schedules, dependencies, risks, and technical blockers.
• Report progress, resolve escalations, and keep stakeholders aligned on delivery outcomes.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Strong knowledge of SSO, federation, SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Experience with enterprise IAM platforms, including Ping Identity and/or SiteMinder.
• Good understanding of HTTP protocols, session management, and cookie management.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and directory services.
• Proven experience leading IAM technical projects and coordinating engineers and third-party vendors.
• Strong technical communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and delivery management skills.
• Japanese: High Intermediate (N2, with good speaking ability)
• English: Advanced

Preferred Skills:

• Experience integrating SSO and federation across complex enterprise application environments.
• Experience working with global IAM, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams.
• Experience coordinating technical decisions across application owners, engineering teams, and external vendors.

Working Hours:

9:00–18:00 (Mon–Fri)

Working Style:

Hybrid — 3 days in the office / 2 days WFH

Employment Type:

Gyomu-Itaku Contract — Initial 12-month contract, with extension possible

Holidays:

Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, Year-end and New Year Holidays, and Paid Holidays.

Services / Benefits:
