Hiring Company:

The Japanese operation of a major global insurance group with an international business network. The Finance Digitalization team focuses on improving financial operations, digitalizing reporting processes, and applying new technologies to support business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze Finance processes and implement digital solutions to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Support the digitalization of financial reporting and key performance indicators using BI tools, dashboards, and data solutions.
• Identify opportunities for AI adoption and support AI solution integration, including AI output quality and prompt improvement where applicable.
• Gather requirements from Finance stakeholders and translate business needs into functional or technical specifications.
• Support system design, development, testing, and implementation, including Anaplan-based solutions where applicable.
• Lead or coordinate digital transformation initiatives with Finance, IT/Data, and international stakeholders.
• Prepare requirements, process flows, project documentation, and reports to support project delivery and governance.

Required Skills:

• Experience in at least one relevant area: systems engineering, solution architecture, business analysis, Anaplan development, or AI solution integration.
• Ability to identify business challenges, analyze workflows, and propose practical improvements through digitalization or system implementation.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical or functional solutions.
• Experience supporting system development, implementation, integration, or process improvement initiatives.
• Business-level English or Japanese, with the ability to communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with BI tools, dashboards, financial reporting, or data visualization.
• Hands-on experience with Anaplan development, model building, or solution implementation.
• Experience in AI output quality management, prompt engineering, prompt architecture, or AI system integration.
• Understanding of financial reporting, business planning, data quality, and performance indicators.
• Experience coordinating projects across business and technical teams.

Working Hours:

9:00–17:00 (Mon–Fri)

Hybrid — 50% WFH / 50% office
