Bookkeeper

Job Description This is a remote position. This is a remote contract role for a Bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for our parent company in Australia. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for tasks such as bookkeeping, reconciling accounts, preparation of BAS and maintaining financial statements. Requirements Bookkeeping and Accounting skills Experience with Accounting Software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Journal Entries (Accounting) skills Knowledge of Financial Statements Ability to work independently and remotely Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial record keeping Strong ethics regarding data privacy of sensitive data Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus Professional certification such as CPA or CA is a plus Industry experience or strong knowledge of Australian tax rules and regulations would be highly advantageous
