WE ARE HIRING: Business Analyst (Banking & Finance Domain) Industry: Banking / Finance / Technology Location: Sri Lanka Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The role involves analyzing data, identifying workflow inefficiencies, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver strategic recommendations that support process improvements and business objectives. Key Responsibilities Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders Conduct data analysis to derive actionable insights Identify inefficiencies within workflows and propose optimized solutions Create clear and detailed documentation of requirements, workflows, and expected outcomes Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams Translate business needs into functional specifications or user stories Collaborate with QA teams to validate solutions and ensure alignment with requirements Monitor implemented solutions and recommend enhancements as needed Prepare technical documentation and develop workflow diagrams for solution design Qualifications & Experience Educational Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Business, IT, or a related field Experience Minimum 3+ years of experience in business analysis Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and spoken English Excellent documentation skills, including preparation of technical documents and workflow guides Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Technical Skills Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis Experience in business process modeling Familiarity with UML and ability to interpret technical models Hands-on experience with Figma / AI tools for workflow diagrams, UI mock-ups, and workflow animation Understanding of Agile methodologies Experience using project management tools such as JIRA or Trello Ready to Take Your Career to New Heights?
