Business Analyst- Investment & Markets

This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw, Poland, where you will join our Investment & Markets domain. The domain delivers and maintains the systems and processes that power trading, investment, and post-trade operations, enabling banks to offer seamless investment services while ensuring compliance and supporting digital transformation. It is one of BEC’s key strategic focus areas.

You will join a team responsible for developing and maintaining the investment application available to customers through both Netbank and Mobile Bank, helping deliver a seamless self-service investment experience across digital channels.

At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month.

Your direct manager will be Paweł Olszański.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

• Clarifying and aligning the expectations and needs of our customers in cooperation with your team Product Owner and UX Team
• Prioritizing and breaking down features into user stories and defining acceptance criteria with the Product Owner
• Analyze business problems and opportunities, and define clear, actionable solutions.
• Ensure that solutions meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
• Working closely with the developers and technicians on building, implementing and testing the right solutions for the Investment area
• Collaborate closely with developers to clarify and refine requirements.
• Translate sector regulations and compliance requirements into development tasks.
• Support daily operations, incidents, maintenance, and housekeeping activities.
• Facilitating meetings, presentations and workshops
• Creating and maintaining documentation and user handbooks
  
  
  

To succeed you will have: 

• 3y+ work experience as Business Analyst
• Experience working with large and complex systems and/or products
• Ability to break down complex problems and identify actionable solutions.
• Skilled in writing business procedures, user guides, and requirement specifications.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with end user applications
• Experience working in agile setups like Scrum or SAFe. 
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Familiarity with both functional and non-functional requirements, and how they translate into system behavior.
• Clear and effective communication with stakeholders, developers, and end-users—both written and verbal.
• Pro-active and a good team-player with focus on helping each other to deliver as promised

• Experience from Banking or financial IT
