Business Analytics Team Lead – AI & iGaming

We’re looking for a hands-on Business Analytics Team Lead to lead a multi-site team and drive the shift from traditional reporting to proactive, AI-powered analytics.

Supporting B2B and B2C platforms, you’ll partner with business and technology teams to improve decision-making, profitability, customer experience, and operational efficiency. Alongside leading the team, you’ll actively contribute to complex analyses and develop AI-powered solutions that identify opportunities, detect risks, recommend decisions, and automate actions through approved workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop Business Analysts across multiple locations, managing priorities, delivery, and analytical standards.

• Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, Sportsbook, Casino, Risk, Payments, and Operations to translate business challenges into actionable insights.

• Define consistent KPIs and lead analyses of player behavior, conversion, retention, profitability, and operational performance.

• Design and develop AI-powered analytical agents, conversational analytics, and automated decision-support solutions.

• Lead segmentation, cohort and funnel analysis, A/B testing, and evaluations of features, promotions, and commercial initiatives.

• Own analytical initiatives from discovery and requirements through validation, implementation, and adoption, working closely with Data Engineering, BI, Product, and Development.

• Ensure data quality, promote self-service analytics, and communicate recommendations and measurable business impact.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, BI, Product Analytics, or a related field, including 2+ years of team leadership.

• Experience in complex environments spanning multiple products, brands, or markets, with the ability to lead initiatives independently and partner with senior stakeholders.

• Advanced SQL and hands-on experience with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau, and cloud data platforms such as BigQuery or Snowflake.

• Strong knowledge of data modeling, KPI definitions, data quality, behavioral analytics, segmentation, funnels, cohorts, and A/B testing.

• Practical experience using Generative AI and designing, prototyping, or implementing analytical agents, intelligent workflows, or automated decision-support solutions.

• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, conversational analytics, and connecting AI insights to APIs and operational workflows.

• Awareness of AI limitations, data privacy, accuracy, human oversight, and controlled execution.

• Strong business judgment, ownership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills, with excellent communication in English.

• Willingness to remain hands-on while leading a team. iGaming, Online Casino, or Sports Betting experience is strongly preferred.

Advantages

• Knowledge of Sportsbook and Casino operations, industry KPIs, payments, fraud, bonus abuse, or risk analytics.

• Experience with Python, machine learning, predictive modeling, anomaly detection, or AI agent frameworks.

• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow/Astronomer, CRM, personalization, or marketing automation tools.

• Experience building self-service or conversational BI and leading distributed teams.
