About the job

We are now looking for an experienced Operations Business Controller to join our Group Business Control team in Lahti, Finland. In this role, you will strengthen the financial management and operational performance of Peikko’s manufacturing network by improving transparency, supporting fact-based decision-making, and promoting consistent controlling practices across production units. You’ll work closely with Group Operations, manufacturing management, and the business controller network to develop reporting, costing, benchmarking, and performance management practices in a collaborative, international environment. You will report to the Director, Group Business Control.

What you'll be responsible for

• Act as a financial business partner to Group Operations and manufacturing management

• Provide analysis and decision support on operational performance, profitability, working capital, planning, and investments

• Develop and harmonize operations controlling, reporting, costing methodologies, and performance management practices across manufacturing units

• Drive benchmarking between production units to identify improvement opportunities and promote best practices

• Coordinate operations controlling activities and foster collaboration within the manufacturing business controller network

• Contribute to Group Business Control priorities and cross-functional initiatives that improve manufacturing performance

What we need from you

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field

• Relevant experience in business controlling, operations controlling, or manufacturing finance

• Good understanding of manufacturing operations, costing, and performance management

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, business-oriented approach

• Advanced Excel, Power BI and AI skills

• Strong collaboration and communication skills in an international environment

• Good written and spoken English
