Help drive the next stage of PPC Kingdom’s growth.
We’re looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development Manager to win new clients, build lasting relationships and take ownership of our new business pipeline.
PPC Kingdom is an independent digital marketing agency helping businesses generate leads, increase sales and grow through PPC, paid social, SEO, and conversion tracking and analytics.
Our founder brings more than 10 years of digital marketing experience, and our team works with clients across a range of sectors, from e-commerce to professional services.
We’re now looking for someone who can introduce our expertise to more businesses and turn those conversations into long-term client partnerships.
The opportunity
Working directly with our Founder and Director, you’ll help shape and deliver our new business strategy, taking opportunities from initial prospecting through to signed agreements.
This is a hands-on sales role with responsibility for generating opportunities as well as developing inbound enquiries. You’ll identify businesses that could benefit from our services, understand their commercial challenges and work with our technical team to put forward the right solutions.
You’ll have the space to bring ideas, develop your approach and make a visible contribution to the growth of the agency.
What you’ll be doing
- Generating new business: Build a consistent flow of qualified opportunities through targeted email outreach, telephone prospecting, LinkedIn, networking, referrals and events.
- Finding the right clients: Identify businesses whose goals, budgets and needs align with our services, with a focus on securing ongoing client relationships and retainers.
- Leading discovery conversations: Speak with business owners, founders and marketing decision-makers to understand their objectives, current challenges and buying process.
- Managing the sales process: Take ownership of opportunities from first contact and qualification through to proposals, presentations, negotiations and closing.
- Developing compelling proposals: Work with our Director and PPC and SEO specialists to create recommendations with a clear scope, commercial value and realistic expectations.
- Building partnerships: Develop relationships with complementary agencies, web developers, consultants and other potential referral partners.
- Keeping the pipeline organised: Maintain accurate CRM records, follow up consistently and provide clear updates on opportunities, forecasts and results.
- Supporting a smooth handover: Ensure our delivery team understands each new client’s objectives, agreed services and expectations.
- Improving our approach: Use prospect feedback and sales results to refine our targeting, messaging and new business activity.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll have a proven track record of winning new business in B2B services, ideally within a digital marketing, advertising or agency environment.
You’ll understand how to sell an ongoing service, build trust with decision-makers and explain how marketing investment connects to business results.
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, follows through and enjoys both opening conversations and closing deals.
You’ll bring:
- Evidence of generating and closing your own sales opportunities, ideally including recurring contracts or retainers.
- A working understanding of PPC, paid social and SEO, and how these services support lead generation and e-commerce growth.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline from prospecting to closing, using a CRM to stay organised.
- Strong discovery, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- The ability to discuss budgets, commercial priorities and expected outcomes confidently.
- A practical approach to targets, with the discipline to maintain consistent prospecting and follow-up activity.
- Sound judgement about client fit, pricing and the commitments made during the sales process.
- The independence to manage your workload and the willingness to collaborate with a small team.
An existing network of business or marketing contacts would be an advantage. More importantly, you’ll know how to build new relationships and turn them into business.
Hands-on campaign management experience is welcome but isn’t essential. Our technical team will support you with strategy and delivery.
Why PPC Kingdom?
You’ll work directly with the founder of an independent agency where your ideas and results can influence how the business develops.
This role offers ownership of new business activity, access to technical expertise when developing proposals, and the opportunity to help build a more established sales function as the agency grows.
We value clear communication, accountability and client relationships built on realistic expectations and good work.
What we offer
- A basic salary of up to £40,000, depending on experience.
- Commission rewarding successful new business acquisition.
- Direct collaboration with the Founder and Director.
- Autonomy to help shape our sales strategy and approach.
- Support from our PPC and SEO specialists during the proposal and pitching process.
- Scope to take on greater responsibility as the business grows.
- Hybrid working after an initial three-month period in the office: three days in the office and two days from home each week.
The role is currently based in Bromley. We are planning an office move to Central London towards the end of 2027.
Ready to help us grow?
Apply through LinkedIn with your CV and a short introduction outlining your relevant sales experience and examples of new business you’ve won.
We’d particularly like to hear about the services you’ve sold, how you generated opportunities and the results you achieved.
