If you're a driven sales professional with deep roots in the UK financial advice community, this is your opportunity to own and grow a meaningful book of business for FE Investments - the regulated investment arm of one of the industry's most trusted data and technology providers.
This role puts you front and centre as the face of FE Investments in the IFA market, giving you the autonomy to shape your regional strategy, win new adviser firms, and deepen relationships that make a real difference to the advisers and clients you serve. You'll be backed by a dedicated Business Development Representative handling lead generation and meeting booking, freeing you to focus on what you do best - building high-value relationships and closing meaningful partnerships. With a growing model portfolio proposition and strong internal support from marketing and investments teams, you'll have everything you need to succeed and progress.
The role can be based anywhere across the UK, with some travel to London required for occasional in-person meetings and team collaboration.
Your key responsibilities as a Business Development Manager will include:
- Developing and implementing a regional business plan to grow client numbers and assets under management.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with IFA firms through a genuine understanding of their financial planning needs.
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities to increase adoption of FE Investments' model portfolio solutions with new and existing clients.
- Attending industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to raise the profile of FE Investments across the adviser community.
- Planning and delivering regional events for clients and prospects to generate pipeline and deepen engagement.
- Maintaining accurate records within the company CRM and reporting on activity and pipeline as required.
You will need the following experience and skills to join us as a Business Development Manager:
- You have a strong track record of fund or MPS sales through adviser channels in the UK market.
- You bring existing, established relationships across advisers, networks and or consolidators.
- You hold a recognised Level 4 investment qualification relevant to the UK advice market.
- You demonstrate excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- You are able to manage your own time and territory independently, combining strategic thinking with a results-driven approach.
