Business Development Representative (Remote South Africa)

At Neuronic, we build science-backed photobiomodulation (light therapy) technology that helps people think clearer, recover faster, and protect their brains for the long term. Our flagship, the Neuronic LIGHT, is an at-home near-infrared helmet used by clinics, research partners, and thousands of customers across the US and internationally.

We're now looking for a Business Development Representative who wants more than another sales job. Someone who loves starting conversations, thrives on clear goals, and wants to help bring a new category of brain health technology to more people.

Your mission

You'll be the first conversation many people have with Neuronic. Your job is to open doors: find the right prospects, start meaningful conversations, and book qualified meetings for our Account Executive. Every meeting you book puts someone one step closer to better brain health.

What you'll do
  • Run daily outbound outreach across phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Research prospects and personalise every touch
  • Qualify interest and book meetings directly into our Account Executive's calendar
  • Follow up consistently so no opportunity goes cold
  • Keep HubSpot accurate and share what you're hearing from the market
  • Work closely with the sales and leadership team to sharpen our messaging

Who you are

You're competitive without being pushy. You enjoy talking to new people, you're comfortable hearing no, and you take ownership of your numbers without being asked.

You likely have:

  • 1+ years in an SDR, BDR, or appointment-setting role, ideally selling to US prospects
  • Confidence on the phone and excellent spoken and written English
  • Strong organisation and disciplined CRM habits
  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or a similar CRM
  • A quiet home office, reliable internet, and a backup power setup
  • A natural curiosity to learn both about light therapy, the brain and improving systems

Bonus points for experience in health, wellness, or health technology.

Why join Neuronic
  • Help bring cutting-edge brain health technology to people who need it
  • Work remotely with a mission-driven international team
  • Learn consultative sales from the ground up in a growing company
  • Be rewarded for performance with a bonus on top of your base
  • Receive equipment after successful completion of probation
  • Grow with the company as the sales team expands

The details
  • Fully remote, South Africa
  • Full-time, 10:00 start (SAST) to overlap with the team and US business hours
  • Competitive base plus performance bonus

If you're driven, curious, and want your work to matter, we'd love to hear from you.
