English Enhancement is hiring a part-time Business Operations Coordinator to work directly with our team in a small, growing, foreign-operated consulting business based in Vietnam.
We're looking for someone who enjoys having responsibility and the freedom to act on their ideas. Someone who notices when a system could work better, follows up before something gets missed, and feels comfortable saying, “I think we should try this instead.”
Our work includes consulting on online programs, managing schedules and development of online systems to improve business operations.
You’ll help keep our daily operations organised and have a voice in how we develop our programs and work with our team.
What would you be doing?
• Coordinating schedules, keeping information current, and helping sessions start on time.
• Communicating with clients and our management team through Zalo and other online channels so everyone is up to date.
• Looking at how we organise our work and putting practical improvements into place.
• Discussing what flows well and what could be improved.
• Handling documents, follow-ups, basic financial records, and English–Vietnamese communication.
• Taking care of occasional practical tasks, such as preparing printed materials or arranging paperwork.
You don’t need to know everything on day one. You do need to follow through, ask useful questions, and feel comfortable making decisions within your responsibilities. If there is an issue or delay, our team members will communicate honestly and help work out the next step.
Strong English and Vietnamese communication skills are important, along with confidence using Excel, Canva, and online collaboration tools.
Experience in online programs/courses, public speaking, debate, or coordinating an online team would be valuable.
Experience working with international colleagues or living abroad would also be welcome.
You’ll work closely with the company founder and get to understand the business as a whole. As you learn the operations, there will be room to take on more decisions and shape how we grow. Your ideas will have a direct route into practice.
The practical details
• Part-time and remote, primarily Monday to Friday afternoons and evenings, Vietnam time.
• Flexible hours, with regular availability agreed together so messages and coordination receive timely attention.
• Preference for someone based in Ho Chi Minh City, where our office is located. It would be nice to grab a coffee together occasionally.
• Starting salary of approximately VND 6 million per month, with scope for increases as responsibilities grow.
If this sounds like work you would enjoy taking charge of, send me your CV and a message.
Tell me about something you’ve organised, a problem you’ve solved, or a process you’ve made better. I’d like to hear how you work and what you would bring to the role.
Thanks
