Business Process Analyst

Behind every renewal, invoice and support ticket is a chain of handovers between teams and systems. Each link matters. You will find the ones that slow us down, design something better and see it through to everyday use.

Please note this is a 12-month maternity cover

The role

You will join our Business Systems team, covering a colleague's maternity leave. You will sit between the people who run our business and the systems that support them, including Salesforce, Maxio, NetSuite and Freshdesk, turning what teams need into changes that are well designed, properly tested and actually used.

Day to day, you will:

• Map current and future-state processes end to end, using Miro and Lucid
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and turn them into clear system specifications
• Run work-in-progress sessions and design workshops to validate requirements and shape solutions
• Write test cases and support system, integration and user acceptance testing
• Help configure business logic and user interfaces alongside the development team
• Track changes through to release in Jira
• Spot gaps, manual workarounds and opportunities to simplify or automate
• Apply service management (ITIL) practices to keep processes consistent and reliable
  
  

What Success Looks Like

By month three, you understand how our core processes flow from CRM through billing, finance and support. You have built strong relationships with key stakeholders and mapped the processes that matter most.

By month six, you have led workshops that shaped real changes and taken improvements through testing and into everyday use. Teams can point to steps that are simpler or faster because of your work.

By the end of your contract, you leave clear, documented processes the team can keep building on.

What You Will Bring

Must-haves:

• Experience as a business process analyst, business analyst or systems analyst, ideally in a SaaS or technology business
• A continuous improvement mindset, with a track record of analysing and improving business processes
• Strong process mapping and documentation skills, with hands-on use of tools like Miro or Lucid
• Solid working knowledge of Salesforce, ideally including administration
• Experience gathering requirements and supporting testing, including UAT
• Confidence working with stakeholders at every level and balancing several priorities at once
  
  

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with billing or ERP processes, especially Maxio or NetSuite
• Familiarity with ITIL or service management practices
• Using Jira to document requirements and manage releases
• A degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience
