Company Description Chyaca is a Cairo-based fashion brand specializing in timeless wardrobe staples designed for modern, style-conscious customers. The brand focuses on pieces that blend comfort, versatility, and effortless style, creating garments that can be worn every day. Inspired by Cairo’s dynamic rhythm and contemporary minimalism, Chyaca’s collections balance ease with refined details. The team values thoughtful design, quality materials, and a modern aesthetic that feels both practical and elevated.
Role Description The Clo3d Specialist will support Chyaca’s design and product development process by creating accurate 3D garment simulations, virtual prototypes, and digital samples. Day-to-day tasks include building digital patterns, applying fabric properties, refining fit and drape, and collaborating with designers to translate concepts into detailed Clo3d models. The specialist will organize digital assets, prepare files and visuals for internal reviews and production partners, and help streamline the virtual sampling workflow. This is a part-time hybrid role based in Egypt, combining on-site work in Cairo with the flexibility to complete some tasks from home.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Clo3d design software, with the ability to create detailed, production-ready garment simulations.
- Solid understanding of pattern making, garment construction, and fit, including basic knowledge of fabrics, draping, and technical specifications.
- Experience collaborating with fashion designers and product teams, with the ability to interpret sketches, mood boards, and brand guidelines into digital designs.
- Comfort working with digital tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, PLM or asset management systems) to organize and present design files and visuals.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple projects in a part-time, hybrid work environment.
- Relevant education or training in fashion design, pattern making, or digital garment technology is preferred.
- Prior experience in a fashion brand or studio environment, especially in womenswear or contemporary ready-to-wear, is an advantage.
- Effective communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are beneficial for local collaboration.
