Description
We are looking for a
Cloud Alliance Associate to join Kloia’s Alliance Team and support our AWS partnership activities from both an operational and strategic perspective.
In this role, you will work at the intersection of
cloud technology, business, partnerships, and presales, supporting AWS Partner Network (APN) programs, opportunities, internal coordination, and AWS-related enablement activities.
This is not a hands-on production engineering role. However, you should be comfortable with the fundamentals of AWS and cloud architecture, able to communicate effectively with technical teams, and curious about how cloud technologies and AWS programs can create value for both Kloia and its customers.
Over time, you will take increasing ownership of selected alliance processes, from identifying opportunities and coordinating requirements to managing program applications and sharing AWS developments across the organization.
As a Cloud Alliance Associate You Will:
- Support the operational and strategic management of Kloia’s AWS Partner Network (APN) activities.
- Research new and existing AWS Partner Programs, including eligibility criteria, technical and business requirements, potential funding or incentives, and their value for Kloia.
- Support AWS Partner Program applications, including required documentation, paperwork, evidence collection, and follow-up activities.
- Open, maintain, and track AWS APN Opportunities, ensuring that relevant project and customer information is accurately reflected and kept up to date.
- Coordinate with project teams and Delivery Managers to collect relevant project signals, identify potential AWS opportunities, and follow required actions.
- Coordinate AWS-related requirements and actions across Engineering, DevOps, Sales, and Business teams.
- Track relevant customer, project, and opportunity information required for partnership activities.
- Support presales activities by working together with technical and business teams when needed.
- Prepare reports, analyses, and documentation related to AWS partnership activities and opportunities.
- Contribute to AWS evangelism activities by helping turn new AWS services, programs, and developments into internal or external content such as blog posts, videos, webinars, presentations, or knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Communicate with AWS teams, partners, internal stakeholders, and, when relevant, customers.
- Gradually take end-to-end ownership of selected alliance processes as you gain experience.
What would an average day look like?
Your day may start by reviewing ongoing AWS Partner Program activities, APN Opportunities, application requirements, or open actions and coordinating with the relevant internal teams.
You might work with project teams or Delivery Managers to gather information about an AWS-related project, identify signals that could turn into an APN Opportunity, and make sure the necessary information is documented and followed up.
Part of your day may involve researching an AWS Partner Program to understand its eligibility criteria, required documentation, technical and business expectations, potential funding opportunities, and overall value for Kloia. You may then coordinate the application process and collect the necessary information from different teams.
On another day, you might support a presales opportunity, prepare partnership reports, join a meeting with AWS or internal stakeholders, or research a recent AWS development and help transform it into a blog post, webinar, video, or internal knowledge-sharing session.
As you gain experience, you will begin managing selected APN programs, opportunities, and alliance processes more independently and taking greater ownership of their progress and outcomes.

You may come from Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a similar field. More important than a specific degree is your ability to understand technical concepts, communicate clearly, research unfamiliar topics, and evaluate their business impact.
We are looking for someone who does not stop at simply completing an assigned task. You should naturally ask questions such as
“Why are we doing this?”, “What value does this create?”, “What information is missing?”, and “What needs to happen next?”
You should also enjoy working with different stakeholders, following multiple processes, turning technical information into clear communication, and gradually taking ownership rather than waiting for step-by-step direction.

This role will give you early exposure to how a global cloud partnership operates beyond the technical layer. You will gain practical experience with AWS Partner Network processes, partner programs, opportunity management, presales collaboration, and cross-functional coordination.
You will learn how technical capabilities connect to business opportunities, how AWS programs create value for both partners and customers, and how to evaluate an initiative not only from a technical perspective but also in terms of business impact and strategic fit.
You will also work closely with AWS, Engineering, DevOps, Sales, Business, and Delivery teams, giving you a broad understanding of how different functions come together around cloud projects and partnerships.
As you gain experience, you will take increasing ownership of selected APN programs, opportunities, and alliance processes. This experience can build a strong foundation for future roles in
cloud alliances, partner management, cloud business development, presales, or cloud strategy.
Requirements
- Fundamental understanding of cloud computing and AWS.
- Familiarity with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM and their basic use cases.
- Understanding of basic cloud architecture concepts and the ability to follow an architecture diagram.
- Basic understanding of containers and Docker concepts.
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes and the purpose of AWS container services such as EKS, ECS, and ECR.
- Ability to understand a technical topic and evaluate it from a business perspective.
- Strong research and analytical thinking skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work with Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and analysis.
- Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to different audiences.
- Strong willingness to learn and take ownership.
- English proficiency sufficient to work with technical documentation and communicate with international stakeholders.
Nice To Have:
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or an Associate-level AWS certification.
- Personal projects, labs, or academic experience using AWS.
- Hands-on experimentation with AWS services, containers, or Kubernetes in a lab or project environment.
- Previous internship, university project, or similar experience combining technology, research, business, or cloud-related topics.
- Experience creating technical content, presentations, blog posts, webinars, or other knowledge-sharing materials.
