We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Commercial Advisory Proposal Writer Senior Specialist to join the Marketing team in our Philippines office.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

End-to-End Proposal Management
- Tier 2 & 3 proposals, and pursuit responses from kickoff through submission, managing timelines, storyboards, and stakeholder inputs across time zones.
- Support proposal kickoff calls with US partners/pursuit leads to clarify win themes, scope, and client hot buttons.
- Build and manage proposal schedules, assignment trackers, and version control so nothing is missed under tight deadlines.
- Draft, tailor, and edit executive summaries, firm/team qualifications, staff bios, case studies, and value propositions from a content library and SME input.
- Translate technical or industry-specific input from partners/SMEs into clear, client-ready, persuasive narrative.
- Contribute to the proposal teams reusable content and boilerplate library to increase speed and consistency.
- Conduct structured peer reviews (Pink/Red/Gold Team-style) of proposal drafts for messaging, compliance, and win-theme alignment.
- Proofread and quality-check all deliverables for grammar, formatting, brand consistency, and adherence to client instructions.
- Provide constructive, specific feedback to writers and coordinators to raise the overall quality bar.
- Build and maintain compliance matrices to ensure 100% responsiveness to RFP/RFI requirements, mandatory forms, and evaluation criteria.
- Flag risks, missing requirements, or inconsistencies early, and escalate appropriately to US leadership.
- Ensure proposals meet firm brand, legal, and confidentiality standards prior to submission.
- Serve as the primary proposal point of contact for assigned pursuits, coordinating across partners, subject-matter experts, graphic design, and pricing/finance.
- Provide proactive status updates and clear asks to US stakeholders, respecting time-zone constraints.
- Support onboarding/training of junior proposal coordinators on tools, templates, and process.
- Utilize CRM and proposal management tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics/Salesforce, SharePoint, Loopio or similar content libraries) to manage pursuits and content.
- Track win/loss data and debrief insights; recommend process, template, or content improvements.
- Support development of playbooks, SOPs, and training materials for the proposal function.
The successful candidate will have:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., APMP Foundation or Practitioner) is a plus, not required
- 5+ years of experience in proposal development, business development, or a related function within professional services, consulting, or advisory preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and orals/presentation preparation under tight deadlines
- Proven track record of contributing to winning proposals, including shaping win themes and value propositions
- Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams), including template and style management
- Working knowledge of proposal and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Loopio, RFPIO/Responsive, or similar)
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and basic design principles for polished document formatting
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to turn complex technical input into clear, persuasive content
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet competing deadlines
- Ability to collaborate with senior leaders, partners, and subject matter experts and to drive input from stakeholders who are not direct reports
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and brand consistency
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Willingness to work extended hours when proposal deadlines require
- Ability to handle confidential client and firm information with discretion
