Commercial Lead / Co-founder
Sylvia HealthPelvic organ prolapse affects millions of women, yet many are still left choosing between inadequate conservative options and invasive procedures. Sylvia Health has developed a new medical device designed to offer better support, dignity and quality of life for women living with rectocele prolapse, a major subtype of pelvic organ prolapse.
We are now looking for a Commercial Lead, potentially as a co-founder, to help bring this solution to market. This is a unique opportunity to shape the commercial future of an early-stage women's health company tackling a large, under-served and meaningful problem.
About Sylvia Health
Sylvia Health has developed a novel Class I/IIa medical device for rectocele prolapse support, designed to address an urgent unmet need in pelvic health.
Our aim is to improve quality of life for women who need better options between conservative management and invasive intervention. The product has been developed with a focus on real-world use, comfort, dignity and scalability.
We have developed and patient-tested a medical-grade product, and have recently completed our clinical study at Herlev Hospital. Although we cannot share the full results ahead of publication, we are excited by what we have seen and believe we have developed a compelling solution for the unmet need we set out to address.
We are now focused on preparing regulatory submission, expanding our team, and taking the product to market within the next 18 months. The company is supported by technical and clinical expertise, alongside a strong network of clinical and industry advisors.
Why now
Sylvia Health is entering a pivotal phase. The device has been developed and clinically tested, significant funding is in place, and we now need the right commercial co-founder to help shape the path from developed medical device to successful market entry.
This role is a founder-level opportunity to help define the commercial strategy, positioning, partnerships and market access pathway for a new category in women's health.
The role
As Commercial Lead / Co-founder, you will drive Sylvia Health's go-to-market strategy and play a central role in the company's growth.
You will work closely with the founding team, board, clinical advisors and technical partners to translate a patient-centred medical device into a credible, scalable commercial opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy
- Shape market positioning, pricing, branding and distribution strategy
- Build relationships with healthcare providers, hospital decision-makers, distributors and strategic partners

- Ability to build trust with clinical, commercial and investor stakeholders
