Show job description
We are seeking a Licensed Architect to join our team as a production and construction administration resource on commercial, multifamily, and country club projects. The ideal candidate combines strong architectural judgment with deep technical and production experience, and can carry a project from approved design concept through permit, bidding, and construction.

This role will coordinate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal team members. The successful candidate will produce accurate, coordinated, and buildable drawings, keep construction in line with the design intent, and work independently within a multidisciplinary project team.

Key Responsibilities

Production and Construction Documents

  • Translate approved design concepts into fully dimensioned and coordinated drawings that follow standards, from schematic design through construction documents, ready for permit submission, contractor bidding, and construction.
  • Complete and issue drawings on time, meeting project timelines and milestone deadlines.
  • Prepare permit sets and respond to plan-check and building department comments.
  • Incorporate code requirements into the drawings, including building code, accessibility, egress, and fire separation.
  • Review drawings and models for completeness, consistency, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Run QA/QC before each issue and keep issue logs and revision tracking accurate.

Revit and BIM

  • Develop and maintain architectural Revit models and construction documents in accordance with company standards, including families, view templates, sheets, and schedules.
  • Follow company BIM standards, naming conventions, file-sharing procedures, and quality-control processes.
  • Manage worksharing, linked models, and consultant files (structural, MEP, civil).
  • Participate in model reviews and clash coordination, and resolve design or documentation conflicts before drawings are issued.
  • Help improve templates, standard details, and family libraries.

Construction Coordination and Administration

  • Coordinate with MEP and other trade consultants (structural, civil, fire protection, specialty trades) to keep construction in line with the design intent.
  • Lead construction administration by ensuring the construction document drawings are complete and accurate, reviewing submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs, tracking issues, and preparing or updating documentation to carry design intent through construction.
  • Respond to RFIs with clear, timely answers and supporting sketches.
  • Prepare ASIs, bulletins, and change documentation, and update the model and drawings accordingly.
  • Incorporate redlines, field reports, site photos, and approved design changes into project documents, including as-built or record drawings.
  • Join OAC meetings and track action items through to closeout.
  • Review site photos, field reports, and punch lists from the on-site team, and flag any work that does not match the drawings.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal team members through meetings, email, and shared platforms to clarify requirements, resolve project questions, and keep the schedule on track.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Architect with at least 5 years of production and construction administration experience.
  • Experience working on commercial, multifamily, and/or country club projects.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building systems, construction methods, and constructability.
  • Ability to translate design concepts into accurate, coordinated, and buildable construction drawings.
  • Ability to sketch design intent and proposed solutions to construction conflicts, by hand or in AutoCAD, before modeling in Revit, so consultants and contractors get answers quickly.
  • Ability to apply the correct international graphic standards on drawings.
  • Proven construction administration experience, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawing reviews, and site coordination.
  • Working knowledge of building codes and accessibility standards.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality project deliverables.

Perks:

  • Permanent Work From Home.
  • Leave Credits.
  • Monetary Allowance.
  • Annual Bonus.
  • Weekly Paychecks.
  • Fixed Weekends Off.
  • Thriving Company Culture with Complete Autonomy.
  • Exclusive Specialized Training Programs.
