Content Review Date Assistant

Office Administration — Website Review Dates

Remote · Full-time · 54,600–57,720 per year

A website page can be accurate when published and become outdated months later. The Content Review Date Assistant maintains a list of approved review dates, checks the page and its owner, and sends timely notices for content review. This remote role does not decide whether legal, medical, or pricing statements remain correct. It helps the responsible people see what needs attention.

A scheduled review is not an automatic edit

A page may list an event year, a service contact, or an offer date. When the review date approaches, open the live page, identify the assigned owner, and prepare a specific note about what needs checking under the employer's guide. If the owner supplies an approved correction, you may enter it within your access and verify the visible result. If no decision has been made, keep the item pending. Do not quietly delete a page or replace a claim with your own wording.

A useful online tracker shows the URL, topic, last review, next review, owner, and unresolved question. Customer service awareness matters because visitors may rely on a page to make a decision. Office administration keeps the ownership clear so a review request does not vanish when a colleague is away. If a link is broken or a date has already passed, flag that observation separately from the scheduled review.

An approaching review date does not mean a page is wrong. Check the assigned owner and the last approved version, then send the specified reminder with a link to the correct page. If the owner reports that the content remains current, record that decision and any next review date under the employer's process. If a page has no clear owner, flag it rather than choosing a person from an old email thread. This office administration work keeps online content reviews visible; the content owner decides what is accurate and which changes may be published.

Possible duties

  • Monitor an assigned page-review calendar.
  • Open listed pages and confirm their URLs and owners.
  • Send approved review reminders with specific page references.
  • Record an owner's response and any requested change.
  • Apply a permitted update only after approval.
  • Check the visible online page after a change.
  • Escalate a missing owner or overdue high-priority item.

You can learn this role without formal website experience. Customer service, office administration, content entry, or organized school projects are useful backgrounds. The employer will train you on its page tracker, editing limits, and review process. You should be comfortable with browser tabs, dates, and clear written follow-up.

The remote role has full-time options. A home office or similar focused workspace supports page checks. The company will confirm its tools and schedule.

A page owner may say that the information is still current but not provide a replacement date. Record the review outcome and schedule the next check according to the employer's rules. If a page has been replaced by another URL, flag the redirect and link relationships rather than simply closing the old task. A visitor might still arrive through an old bookmark. When several pages share the same statement, provide the owner with the affected URLs so the review can be coordinated.

You will not be expected to verify a specialist claim yourself. It is enough to identify the text and obtain a decision from the authorized person. After an approved correction, check the live view and note whether any other part of the page was affected. The tracker should show what was reviewed, not merely that a reminder was sent.

Some pages have seasonal review dates; others are tied to a change in a service or policy. Learn which trigger applies to an assigned page. When an owner is unavailable, use the provided backup route and record that handoff. A calendar reminder alone does not complete a review. The status should show whether the page was checked, an update was approved, or a decision remains pending. That distinction helps the next person continue the work without reopening every page from scratch.

How applications work

A resume showing that you kept a calendar or online resource current would be relevant. You may use a volunteer or personal project as an example.

If you have maintained a review calendar, mention how you kept an overdue item visible. Specialist content knowledge is not expected for this administrative position. If you move to the next review stage, the employer may request an application on its website. The content team will describe its pages and training.
