We are looking to hire a self-motivated Contract Revenue Specialist - working hours 11.00 to 20.00 - to support one of our growing clients.

The role is based in our Shared Service Center in Bucharest and it’s a fully remote type of work.

Job Summary

The Contract Revenue Analyst acts as the key analytical link between Project Management, Project Controls, Contracts/Commercial, and Accounting, supporting the company’s contract-to-revenue control process. The role focuses primarily on new contract reviews (OTC01) and change order/contract modification reviews (OTC06), preparing the analysis and documentation needed for Accounting and Management to make ASC 606 revenue-recognition decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Contract analysis: Review contracts, SOWs, pricing, payment terms, deliverables, milestones and acceptance provisions; identify relevant terms and potential performance obligations.
• ASC 606 support: Prepare supporting analyses for transaction price, standalone selling prices, variable consideration, financing components and revenue recognition methodology.
• Change order management: Analyze contract modifications and change orders, including unpriced changes; assess scope and pricing impacts, cost-to-complete forecasts and potential revenue implications.
• Revenue & ERP analysis: Reconcile contracts and approved changes against ERP data, investigate discrepancies and support project revenue forecasts and monthly close activities.
• Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with Project Managers, Project Controls, Estimating, Contracts and Accounting to obtain missing information, resolve inconsistencies and escalate significant issues.
• Controls & audit support: Maintain complete, accurate and auditable documentation, including contracts, change-order files, calculations, assumptions, approvals and remediation activities.

Ideal Profile

Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, financial judgment and the ability to understand complex contracts and project financial information. Particularly relevant experience includes engineering/construction contracts, project accounting, percentage-of-completion accounting, ASC 606, revenue recognition, change orders and project controls.

This is primarily a contract/revenue analysis and control role, rather than a pure accounting position. The person prepares the analysis, identifies risks and discrepancies, and provides the documentation needed for Accounting/Management to make the final accounting decisions and approvals.

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• 1–3+ years of experience in contract management or a similar supply chain / finance role.
• Good understanding of basic accounting and contract management processes.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with high-volume transactions and meet deadlines.
