COO / CEO-in-Training — Trustbridge Design & Manufacturing (US) A rare succession-track role: run a profitable manufacturing-tech business today, become its CEO tomorrow. Location: Remote-flexible (Americas preferred, U.S. ideal) Reports to: Founder, Vulcury Venture Studio Level: Co-founder equivalent — base salary + meaningful equity + performance incentives Why This Role Is Different Most "CEO-track" roles are a promise. This one is a plan. Trustbridge is already operating, revenue-generating, and profitable — you're not being asked to find product-market fit from zero. You're being asked to take a working business and scale it into the platform for the global manufacturing economy, with a defined path to the CEO seat and full P&L ownership. And you won't do it alone. Trustbridge is incubated within Vulcury Venture Studio , which means research, marketing, finance, operations infrastructure, technical development, and investor access are already built. You focus on the company; the studio handles the scaffolding. What Trustbridge Does Companies building new products struggle to find the right manufacturing partners. Capable suppliers struggle to find qualified opportunities. Trustbridge sits in the middle of that market with: Engineering & design services — design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and product development support that takes products from concept to production A curated global supplier network — vetted manufacturers matched to real production opportunities A supplier platform (in build) — software that streamlines how product companies discover, evaluate, and engage manufacturing partners Services generate revenue and relationships today; the platform is the scale engine for tomorrow. You'll grow both. What You'll Own Business leadership. Partner with the founder on strategy, then execute it — build the team, the systems, and the operating rhythm of a scaling company. Platform. Shape the product roadmap for the supplier platform and work with technical teams to make sure it delivers real value on both sides of the marketplace. Commercial growth. Design and run the go-to-market for customer acquisition and supplier network expansion. Build relationships with product companies, engineering teams, and manufacturers. Organization. Recruit the early leadership team, install scalable processes, and prepare the business for its next phase of growth and potential capital formation. What Success Looks Like Within the next few years, you will have: Grown the engineering services arm into a leading product development partner Built a robust, global network of qualified manufacturing suppliers Launched and scaled the Trustbridge supplier platform Positioned Trustbridge as the trusted partner for companies bringing products to market At that point, you step fully into the Chief Executive Officer role. Who You Are You've likely spent a decade or more in manufacturing, supply chain, engineering services, or industrial markets — as a consultant, senior operator, or business-unit leader — and you're ready to stop advising and start building. You want ownership: of outcomes, of a P&L, of equity that matters. Must-haves 10+ years in manufacturing, supply chain, engineering services, or industrial markets MBA or comparable strategic leadership experience Proven track record leading teams and building organizations Strong operator: you build systems, not just slide decks Genuine entrepreneurial drive — you want to run a company, not a function Strong pluses Top-tier management consulting background (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, Strategy&) Experience with manufacturing technology, B2B marketplaces, or supply chain platforms Experience working closely with engineering organizations or product companies Experience scaling early-stage businesses or new business units Compensation Structured as a co-founder level opportunity : Competitive base salary Meaningful equity participation in Trustbridge Performance incentives tied to company growth Incentives are deliberately aligned with the long-term value you create. How to Apply Send your resume/LinkedIn profile along with a short note (a few sentences is fine) on the most impressive business or team you've built or scaled. We review every application and respond to all shortlisted candidates within one week. Trustbridge Design & Manufacturing is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds across the Americas.
