Our clients are looking for 3 types of corporate lawyers for opportunities with an international law firm, global / boutique law firm and global company.

(1) CORPORATE REAL ESTATE LAWYER

International Law Firm | 3–6 PQE

📍 KL | Onsite

🎯 3–6 years PQE

Overview

Our client is an established international law firm looking for a Corporate Real Estate Lawyer to join its highly ranked Real Estate / Corporate Commercial practice.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex domestic and cross-border real estate transactions, alongside experienced lawyers and other practice groups within the firm.

Responsibilities

• Advise on and handle a broad range of real estate transactions

• Draft and review sale & purchase agreements, lease / tenancy agreements, joint venture agreements, land development agreements and related documentation

• Conduct legal due diligence and legal research

• Provide legal and regulatory advice on real estate and land matters

• Work closely with corporate, banking, M&A and other practice groups

• Assist on transactions involving commercial properties, data centres, warehousing and logistics facilities

• Manage clients and files effectively and work independently on transactions

• Support client relationship management and business development initiatives

Requirements

• 3–6 years of post-admission experience, preferably in corporate real estate / conveyancing

• Experience gained from a reputable law firm in Malaysia or Singapore

• Strong knowledge of Malaysian real estate laws and the National Land Code

• Good experience in sale & purchase transactions and real estate documentation

• Strong legal research, analytical and drafting skills

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to work independently while being a strong team player

• Meticulous, commercially minded and able to manage deadlines effectively

Added Advantage

Experience in data centre projects, project development / financing, M&A or corporate commercial work will be an advantage.

(2) CORPORATE / M&A LAWYER

Global / Boutique Law Firm | 2–5 PQE

📍 KL | Onsite

🎯 2–5 years PQE

Overview

Our clients are a global / boutique law firms looking for a Corporate / M&A Lawyer to join its growing corporate practice.

This role offers lawyers the opportunity to gain hands-on M&A and corporate transaction exposure, with close interaction with experienced partners and greater involvement throughout the deal process.

Responsibilities

• Assist on mergers & acquisitions and corporate transactions

• Conduct legal due diligence and prepare due diligence reports

• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documents

• Assist with share sale / purchase transactions and corporate restructurings

• Conduct legal research and provide corporate / commercial advice

• Work closely with partners and clients throughout transactions

• Manage transaction timelines, documentation and completion matters

• Support clients on corporate and commercial matters as required

Requirements

• 2–5 years of post-admission experience

• Solid experience in corporate / M&A work

• Good exposure to transaction documentation and due diligence

• Strong drafting, analytical and research skills

• Good command of written and spoken English

• Commercially minded with good attention to detail

• Able to work independently and manage multiple transactions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

We are looking for a Banking Lawyer / Banking Consultant with corporate banking experience to join a high-calibre team providing legal support to global banking clients and their in-house legal teams.

This is an attractive opportunity for lawyers who want to leverage their banking experience in a global, commercially focused and flexible working environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and advise on loan documentation and facility agreements

• Review security documents and other transaction documentation

• Review and negotiate standard facility letters

• Review board resolutions, corporate guarantees and other corporate authorisation documents

• Ensure documentation complies with internal policies and risk management requirements

• Assist deal teams and stakeholders with transaction management

• Support day-to-day legal requirements of banking clients

• Work with stakeholders across different levels and jurisdictions

• Identify and resolve legal and documentation issues in a practical and commercial manner

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant post-admission experience

• Corporate banking / banking legal experience

• Good experience reviewing loan documentation and facility agreements

• Familiarity with security documents, corporate guarantees and board resolutions

• Strong drafting, reviewing and negotiation skills

• Good commercial and practical outlook

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively

• Good proficiency in MS Office and Outlook

Preferred

• Experience drafting / negotiating loan agreements

• Exposure to syndicated and bilateral loans

• Familiarity with APLMA documentation
