About us

Nihongo Master is an online Japanese learning platform that has helped learners since 2012, on the web and on iOS and Android. Most of our subscribers are in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Our partner program runs on Dub (dub.co).

In the past, a single creator partnership drove most of our growth. We're hiring an experienced partnerships manager to find and grow the next generation of creators and partners who love Japanese as much as we do.

What you'll do
  • Own the Nihongo Master partner program end to end: strategy, recruitment, activation and reporting
  • Find, pitch and close partnerships with English-language YouTube, TikTok and Instagram creators who teach Japanese or cover anime, Japan travel and Japanese culture, with audiences mainly in the US, UK, Canada and Australia
  • Build partnerships with language-learning newsletters, blogs, podcasts, study communities and education sites that serve English-speaking learners
  • Negotiate commissions, bounties and campaigns within agreed budgets
  • Keep partner kits current: messaging, discount codes, banners and talking points
  • Re-engage partners who signed up but haven't sent traffic
  • Report weekly on partners recruited, activation and partner-sourced revenue
What we're looking for
  • 3+ years running affiliate, creator or influencer partnership programs
  • Experience with a subscription app, edtech, language learning or another digital subscription product
  • A track record you can put numbers on: partners recruited, creator deals closed, revenue driven
  • Experience recruiting creators whose audiences are in the US, UK, Canada or Australia
  • Hands-on experience with an affiliate platform such as Dub, Rewardful, PartnerStack, Impact or FirstPromoter
  • Excellent written English; your outreach is aimed at native English-speaking creators
  • Self-directed: you set your own plan and are accountable for results
Nice to have
  • You've studied Japanese or hold a JLPT certification
  • Familiarity with the anime, Japan travel or language-learning creator communities
  • Experience running creator bounties or content campaigns
Compensation
  • $1,500–$2,000 USD per month, based on experience
  • Quarterly bonus tied to partner-sourced revenue
  • Full-time employment through Deel, with local statutory benefits
  • Fully remote, with a weekly call during Philippine evening hours
