Data Governance Manager

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Data Governance Manager at Star Link Real Estate. The Data Governance Manager will design, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure consistent, reliable data across the organization. Daily responsibilities include overseeing data quality controls, defining data ownership and stewardship, and coordinating master data management activities for key real estate and customer data domains. The role involves close collaboration with business and technology teams to document data definitions, resolve data issues, and support data-driven decision-making. The Data Governance Manager will also monitor compliance with data policies, produce regular data quality reports, and recommend improvements to data management processes.

Qualifications

• Strong data governance skills, including experience developing and enforcing Data Governance policies and frameworks.
• Practical experience with Data Management and Master Data Management to maintain consistent and accurate core data sets.
• Proven Data Quality skills, including designing controls, metrics, and processes to measure and improve data accuracy and completeness.
• Solid Analytical Skills to interpret data issues, identify root causes, and support recommendations for process and system changes.
• Experience working with real estate, financial, or customer data is beneficial.
• Familiarity with data standards, metadata management, and regulatory or compliance requirements related to data.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
