Delivery Manager (2 Roles) | PE-Backed Property Management Organisation | London (Remote First)
We are partnering with a leading private equity-backed property management organisation, operating a portfolio of established brands across the UK, to appoint two experienced Delivery Managers.
Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, both roles will take ownership of strategically important programmes already in flight. The organisation is looking for delivery leaders who drive outcomes and resolve challenges independently, rather than simply reporting status.
The two roles differ slightly in focus. The first will lead a high-profile transformation programme that needs experienced delivery leadership to restore momentum and confidence. The second will oversee a broader portfolio of in-flight projects and programmes across the group. Both roles work alongside a dedicated Centre of Excellence of product owners, business analysts, developers and testers. The Delivery Manager owns delivery, governance and stakeholder engagement, so the team can stay focused on execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of in-flight programmes and drive them to successful completion
- Rapidly assess programme status, identifying the root causes of delays and putting corrective action in place
- Manage risks, issues and dependencies at programme level, escalating only when necessary
- Build credible, trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, including the CEO, Group Strategy Director and Managing Directors of the operating businesses
- Provide clear, concise and outcome-focused reporting to senior audiences
- Lead change management activity across technical and operational teams to support successful adoption
Experience and Attributes
- Substantial experience as a Delivery Manager, Programme Manager or Senior Project Manager in complex technology change
- A demonstrable track record of recovering and stabilising challenged programmes
- Strong executive presence and the ability to influence at the most senior levels
- Excellent communication skills, with the judgement to navigate complex stakeholder and organisational dynamics
- A pragmatic, commercially minded approach suited to a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment
- Experience across any sector; property or real estate experience is advantageous but not essential
Logistics
- 12-month fixed term contract with a view to permanent, or permanent appointment
- Remote-first working, with attendance at the London office approximately once a fortnight
- Immediate availability preferred
