MPLC provides a legal way to show movies and TV in public or commercial spaces across the globe. Our business has been running for over 30 years, and we are the number one trusted partner to studios and producers for public performance licensing. We work with every major Hollywood studio and hundreds of independents, and we are a key player in the entertainment and intellectual property ecosystem.
We are on a truly exciting journey as a company. We're growing quickly, investing in our teams, and have bold plans for the future. To support that growth, we're looking for a Demand Generation Manager to join our Marketing team.
The Role in Three Bullets
We are on a truly exciting journey as a company. We're growing quickly, investing in our teams, and have bold plans for the future. To support that growth, we're looking for a Demand Generation Manager to join our Marketing team.
The Role in Three Bullets
- Own U.K. pipeline creation: Build and run the UK. demand generation plan across outbound, email, paid, trade associations and account-based programs. You are accountable for U.K. pipeline creation and conversion.
- Growth with the UK. sales team: Work directly with UK. sales leaders, and become an expert on the MPLC value proposition to create priority-vertical plays, sequences, assets and campaigns that reps run, and measure what converts into opportunities and wins.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, agencies & U.S. team: Deliver high quality programs and campaigns on time while working closely with our shared global resources partners and marketing leadership.
We’re hiring a hands-on Demand Generation Manager to own demand generation in the UK. market. You’ll report to our Head of Demand Generation in the U.S., who you work with to set global strategy, while you apply it in a geographically appropriate way. You’ll create UK. strategic plans, be the primary interface with UK sales, and make the local calls.
This role suits someone who has built and run B2B demand programs, ideally in a compliance or licensing business, and who is accountable for pipeline, not just activity.
What Makes a Great Demand Generation Manager
This role suits someone who has built and run B2B demand programs, ideally in a compliance or licensing business, and who is accountable for pipeline, not just activity.
What Makes a Great Demand Generation Manager
- Proven experience running B2B demand generation programs: You’ve planned, launched, optimised and reported on multi-channel programs end to end, across email, paid, social, events, trade associations and sales sequences.
- Ownership of pipeline and funnel performance: You’re comfortable with segmentation, funnel conversion and funnel economics, and you use data to decide where to invest and what to stop.
- Outbound and sales partnership: You’ve run outbound and account-based programs alongside sales teams, and you build sequences and plays that reps use. You understand how sales works as a channel.
- Ability to translate global strategy into local execution: You take global messaging, frameworks and plays and adapt them for U.K. buyers, industries and sales motions, keeping consistency while increasing local relevance. You flag where the U.K. buyer differs.
- A builder mindset with a disciplined test-and-learn approach: You enjoy iterating on performance and feedback, and continuously improving campaign effectiveness.
- Fluency with sales and marketing platforms: You execute campaigns and workflows in tools such as Salesforce, Pardot and Gong, and you work with Revenue Operations on funnel definitions, clean handoffs and reliable reporting.
- Practical use of AI: You use AI to speed up research, segmentation, personalisation and content production without losing quality and human differentiation.
- High standards for quality, accuracy, and follow-through: You care about the details, communicate clearly, and deliver campaigns that are polished, on time, and ready to convert.
Experience We’re Looking For
- 5 years in B2B demand generation, growth or revenue marketing, including ownership of pipeline creation and conversion for a market or region.
- A background in compliance, licensing or another obligation-led sale, where buyers must be shown why they need the product, is strongly preferred. SaaS or other regulated industries are also relevant.
- This role requires a person who wants to roll up their sleeves and get work done. Writing emails, standing up landing pages and optimising email workflows are all in a day’s work.
- You want to truly immerse yourself in sales so you understand the front line messaging as well, if not better, than our customer facing teams.
- You’ll be accountable for a UK. pipeline number, and you’ll manage several campaigns simultaneously while communicating proactively with stakeholders.
- You know how to push back with data, and align teams on what will move the needle for the UK market.
- Our systems are evolving; you’ll help build processes as you execute.
- You want to be in person on the sales floor in Eastbourne to create connections, learn and grow with your colleagues.
- You’ll need to work across time zones (U.S. / UK.) with pace and autonomy.
- Salary of £65,000 to £70,000 depending on experience
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Hybrid working, 2-3 days per week in our Eastbourne office
- Private health insurance including optical and dental care and an online GP service
- Life insurance
